Development and design

Are you familiar with this scenario?
1. You browse through a catalogue and think:
That's not what I'm looking for. I need something completely new/different for my application.
2. You have seen an object and your first thougt is:
That's what I've been looking for... but can I have it a little smaller/bigger or with other components? Does it come in red or green?

We try to cover as many applications as possible with our standard products. But the requirements and installation sites are of such variety that we simply cannot cover all of them with our standard range.

Therefore WES has consolidated the fields of design, development, prototypes/models and production up to medium quantities.

Concept

Our team offers the know-how for the electronic and mechanical realiziation of your concept in a functional and well-looking design. Your idea will be visualized via 3D-CAD in every angle right from the start. This will also help with ergonomical concepts.

Versions

It is often useful to create different designs in the beginning and chose the most appropriate. The CAD system is able to render with different textures/surfaces.
Besides the design aspect the construction of different versions is very helpful if you know from the start that you will need the device in different layouts e.g. a stand-alone and a lectern version or with different components like keyboards, card readers, printers... The construction of versions ensures that all changes are applied to the corresponding models.

Construction

According to the specification sheet the 3D-CAD system executes the mechanical construction. In this phase the customer can be involved into the process via a free tool and have a look at (but not change) all data. As all data is stored in electronic form a fast coordination is easily accomplished.

Prototyping / serial production

The prototyping and serial production up to medium quantities is done at WES - to faciliate the workflow and have a better control.
